Love love love love love these two books!! I mean how can you not love this twist on the Princess and the Pauper?! It has everything: Witches, Royals, Death, Betrayal, Romance, History and a Kingdom that needs to be saved.
I did sign up for the Street Team but unfortunately I didn't quite make it but I did get some gorgeous bookish goodies so thank you for that ladies!
The excitement that I felt pre-ordering the sprayed signed edition of Cursed Crowns is real! I missed out on the sprayed edges of the first book so I wasn't missing out this time, It did arrive late which made me read Twin Crowns slower as I am one of those readers who like to read one after the other when they are a series, I did struggle to not speed read through it though I will admit. Cursed Crowns was definitely worth the wait I mean look at it and that's only the cover, the story is phenomenal! Twin Crowns ended on such a cliff hanger I couldn't wait to read its sequel.
I love how Cat and Katie write, it is effortless which makes it such a easy immersive read. The descriptions on the pages really do make you feel as if you are a part of the story looking in through the window at the words that Cat and Katie have written. I am very big on imagery and worldbuilding and these ladies do it beautifully. Our two leading ladies Rose and Wren born together but separated at birth they couldn't be more ends of the scales if they tried and are forces to be reckoned.
Once you start reading it is very hard to put these books down! If you haven't read them you really are missing out!
Trigger Warnings: Mild Violence/Injury, Death, Death of Parent, Mentions of War, Swearing, Plans of Murder, Murder, Gore, Resurrection and Blood.
Happy Reading!
