It's just another Shelfie Sunday...
Ok so I tried to make it sound like a line from Manic Monday by The Bangles but I don't think it worked...hey ho moving on happy Sunday!!
I haven't done a Shelfie Sunday on here yet so here we are folks. Here is the lovely second shelf on my bookcase and by far the most colourful (thank you Julia Quinn) majority of my books have dark covers so these ones definitely brighten up the bookcase. It is also the shelf I've realised with the most globetrotting things, so let's explore the shelf...
On the end of my shelf next to my Hogwarts candle I have got a little USA flag which my aunt gave me when she told me I was going to New York (it was a surprise and I did cry), I have then got my beautiful Hogwarts candle that I bought last Christmas as a gift to myself, it smells amazing!! You may have seen it in some pictures recently. Next to that we have my New York snow globe which I love, snow globes are one of my favourite things, a little Nazar Boncuk can be seen in front of The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After by the lovely Julia Quinn this was attached to a little piece of card when I bought a necklace on holiday last year.
Then there is my Eiffel Tower; me, my parents and my brother went to Disneyland Paris a few years ago around this time of year and I bought Eiffel Tower statue with a light-up box on the bottom. But the glue on it went a bit strange so I pulled it off, gave the light-up box to my mum as her box had broken and kept my tower as a little statue and to be honest I prefer it so much better without the box. My Harry Potter gold pixie I got this in a mystery sphere from The Works, above my Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children you can see my little rose made out of fabric by my sister. Then my purple poppy for all of the animals that gave their lives during the war because to me they should be honoured as well, they are fallen soldiers too. I do have a picture of my little brother on my shelf but take his picture off the bookcase when I am taking pictures of it for obvious reasons, plus he'd only tell me off.
So there you have it, there is my first Shelfie Sunday and all my little bits and bobs that go with it. Do you have any trinkets on your shelves or bookcases?
