When I filled in a application form to arc read Chiara's novel The Goddess and the Hawk (Released 17th February 2023) there was a little tick box for a PR Book Box. I never thought I would be receiving one but upon getting a message from Chiara for my address I just couldn't say no! Not even a couple of days later and this beauty was being handed to me from my lovely postman.
I mean for starters just look at the matching book and bookmark, they are gorgeous and this book is thick like 633 pages thick! I started it today and so far so good, I can't wait to read more and see where the story goes. As well as this beautiful book I was also sent some incense sticks (Cannabis and Cinnamon), two large crystals and little scatter crystals that tie in with some of the characters. The scatter crystals crystals I have put in a little glass bottle with some flowers I had in my hair at my sisters wedding (see image below, the flowers are pink). Two stickers, thank you cards, character cards and two handwritten pieces of paper explaining which crystal and incense links with which character which made me feel more in familiar with the characters in this novel.
So as you can imagine I was very giddy upon getting this goodie box, thank you again Chiara I am beyond grateful and honoured to have been picked to read and review your book in advance to it being published. Keep your eyes peeled for my review once I've finished this novel.
