Gregory Bridgerton, unlike other men his age believes in true love and is convinced that when he finds the one he will know. And that's what happened, except she isn't the one, she is marrying her one and only but it isn't Gregory...
Lady Lucinda Abernathy, the brides best friend teams up with Gregory to stop the wedding as she believes her friend is marrying the wrong gentleman. Together the iconic duo most work together through the book to try and stop a disaster from occurring but will they succeed and will everyone come out of the situation happy?
Personally I quite like this one, it is a nice sibling to end the series on (not counting book nine). It is as light-hearted as It's in his Kiss, I think these last two books are the complete opposite of The Duke & I and The Viscount who loved me but that could purely and simply be due to the fact that neither Gregory or Hyacinth have many responsibilities with their older siblings taking the reins and holding everything on their shoulders. Gregory is in most books in this series and without him these books would be incomplete and like a hole in the heart. He completes them...
Trigger Warning: Forced Marriage, Childbirth, Gun Violence, Blackmail and Death of Parent.
Happy Reading!
