My First Fairyloot Box!

Updated: Aug 7, 2023

Well isn't this is exciting!!! Last month I received my first Fairyloot box and I was like a child at Christmas!

July's theme was Into the Depths. Being a Pisces my heart sang for this themed box. A lover of the sea I couldn't wait to find out what goodies would be in this box and what book would be waiting for me to read.

Gabi Burton's Sing Me To Sleep transfixed me, I couldn't put the book down! The dust jacket, sprayed edges, end pages and design under the dust jacket front and back are nothing short of magical. Straight away I started reading this book once I had finished the book I was reading. If you want to read more about Gabi Burton's book Sing Me To Sleep I have written my review a few posts before this one.

Then to see the other goodies left me giddy! A Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller wooden tea strainer, soft reusable face pads, foiled mythological bookmarks, cushion cover designed inspired by Axie Oh's book The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea, tarot cards and a themed ceramic plate based around the book The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty.

I'm very fortunate to already have a lot of character art and thank you letters from authors I have had the pleasure of Arc reading for. So I have decided recently that the artwork I have from the lovely authors combined with the art from my Fairyloot boxes I am going to create a gallery wall in my bedroom and find frames of different shapes, sizes and colours to create something magically bookish.

Watch this space I will most definitely create a blog post about my new gallery wall when I have completed it, maybe a reel or post as well on my bookstagram account. If you don't already follow my bookstagram you can find me at @littlebookkeeper.

Happy Reading Bookworms!
