Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Book: Infinite Days (Vampire Queen Trilogy, Book 1)

Author: Rebecca Maizel

Publication Date: 3rd August 2010

A twist on the traditional Vampire stories that we read, this time a vampire longs to be human...

Rebecca's writing is flawless, easy and is just like coming home. I have had this book since I was a teenager and have read it every year...which is a lot of re-reads. Now you have probably read Twilight, Interview with a Vampire and Dracula but this book, this is completely different.

This book follows Lenah our young protagonist well...young in looks. In realty she is actually 592 years old but doesn't look a day over seventeen. This book opens and literally throws us in, we are as bewildered and clueless as Lenah. Being the strongest female vampire in existence she soon coined the name Vampire Queen and ruled over a coven of five vampires in her manor house in Hathersage England. We follow Lenah as she tries to manoeuvre a world that she is not familiar with or the Queen of...the modern world. Alone in the world, learning how to be human and turn off all her vampiric tendencies she soon befriends a lad just like her hanging on the edge of the popular modern world. This book really does have it all, adventure, death, romance, betrayal, history, gore and plenty of fangs and blood.

So my one question for you dear reader is this, will you follow a handsome vampire into a Apple Orchid in the rain and let him change your world forever?

"Evil be he who thinketh evil."

Trigger Warnings: Blood, Gore, Sexual References, Murder, Death, Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, Flashbacks and Loss of Family Member.

Happy Reading!
