Book: Evie: Dimples & Her Devil
Author: Rose Cadar
Publication Date: 28th April 2023
Book 20 Of The Year
To start there are triggers throughout this book, Rose does an amazing job of alerting the reader on the first page of what these triggers are and the help that is there if the reader needs it. So for that I applaud Rose.
I do love this book, the different points of view from Evie, Max, Chase and Hunter really gives a insight and makes the story grow and develop.
One thing that I didn't practically like (or couldn't get on with) was the Baby A, B and C. I understand they are nicknames for some of our main characters but if it wasn't for Chase being Baby C I would have completely forgotten every time who was who. So for me I personally found that a bit confusing.
When I think about this book especially the ending it brings me pride to be a woman, the empowerment that Rose writes is beautiful. She gives the 'weak' women all of the power and eventually they come out on top and I love that. There are some fantastic friendships formed through this book that really do make me smile and remind me of my own friends. The ending for this book is brilliant and might possibly be one of my favourites.
I was very lucky to have been given a eArc to read and review ahead of publication, thank you again for that Rose I have loved reading your book and look forward to what you write next.
