A dramatic twist on Greek Gods and Goddesses, this is the book for you if you love all things Greek mythology. First things first I love the dedication of this book, it is sweet and lovely. Next the cover, I mean what is there to say other than gorgeous. The colours, the images and feathers, beautiful! I love how this cover links to the book, gives it a real light-bulb moment.
The prologue of this book is everything! I sat reading it and was in awe, this book took me a day to read I couldn't put it down. I was very luck to have been sent this book as a eArc by Michelle to read and review here on my blog, Amazon and Goodreads.
The descriptions of the characters in this book as well as the worldbuilding is phenomenal, Michelle is a genius in the imagery department! To feel as if you there with the characters is my favourite thing about reading and Michelle makes it so easy to immerse yourself within the story. The different points of view each chapter makes the story go deeper as we get a wider view of what is happening and how our protagonists (Hephaestus and Kharis) are feeling as the pages go on. I love how Michelle has incorporated real Greek myths within her book as well as adding her own layer to what we already know.
I can not wait to see what happens next!!
