In honour of Lord Eros I thought I would share some of my Bookish Crush's, I created this as a reel on my Instagram and thought it was a really fun thing to do so I thought I would share it with you guys on here too.
**P.S this post may contain book spoilers so read with caution** So shall we dive right in with it? I believe we shall, lets see...
'Will Herondale' from Infernal Devises by Cassandra Clare. I find that Will is one of those cheeky romantics that you just can't help but love. Very much like his late descendant Jace Herondale
'Cassian, Lord of Bloodshed' from ACOTAR Series by Sarah J.Maas. Ok, how can you not love this man. The sarcasm, cheekiness, fast comebacks, the caring nature, playfulness and then the protectiveness that he has over his 'Family' just makes my heart melt.
'Marco' from The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I really love how Celia and Marco build certain tents for each other and slowly their love builds and builds as the book goes on.
'Vasily' from The Witch and the Tsar by Olesya Salnikova Gilmore. One of my favourite ARC books that I have had the pleasure of reading and reviewing! Yaga our fierce protagonist has known her lover since he was a boy and his father before him but it is only upon seeing him as a grown man where her feelings begin to develop. I adore the relationship that these two characters have and how they develop not just individually but as a couple.
'Rhode' from Infinite Night Trilogy by Rebecca Maizel. I loved Rhode from the first book to the last book, the protectiveness and love that he has for Lenah is so strong from the first page up until the last. I didn't realise until I researched it that there was a third book in the series, so you can imagine my excitement at having more of Rhode.
'Nate' from Beauty and the Blade by S. C. Grayson. This man is *chef's kiss*, I love the enemies to lovers in this book and how he is portrayed at the start as the villain when in fact it isn't. Which is another reason why I love the original tale of Beauty and the Beast, just because they are scarred or look like a monster doesn't mean they are. It is better to look at what is on the inside rather than just judge someone based on their looks.
'Captain Legart' from Midnight in Everwood by M. A. Kuzniar. Our rebellious Captain that captures the heart of our dear Marietta. Legart is one for secret meetings so that he can steal kisses and gaze at the stars. He encourages Marietta to follow her dream and not give in which is something everyone wants from their partners.
'Captain Andrew Rokesby' from The Other Miss Bridgerton by Julia Quinn. My favourite of all the Bridgerton books, Andrew is the rugged Captain people dream off. Romantic, cheeky, sarcastic and protective of those that he cares for which just makes my heartstrings sing.
'Dimitri' from Prophecy of the Sisters Trilogy by Michelle Zink. This man, this is the darker fantastical version of Prince Erin from The Little Mermaid. I love how Michelle writes him and his characteristics. If I could pick a number one bookish crush it would be this man right here.
'Jacks' from Caraval Trilogy and Once Upon A Broken Heart Trilogy by Stephanie Garber. Now we all love a villain but is Jacks really a villain or is that just what everyone sees and thinks when they see him coming? I personally think they have got him all wrong and he is really the hero of our story but we shall have to wait and see for Stephanie's third book A Curse for True Love.
'Mr Darcy' from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I'm an old fashioned kind of gal, I love the whole walking around a park on the arm of a gentleman, love letters, courting, evening balls and asking a parents permission for marriage. It just sings to me so sweetly.
'Tor' from Twin Crowns by Katherine Webber and Catherine Doyle. When I imagine Tor in my head I imagine this tall, muscle of a man which dark hair and bright eyes and a personality to die for...bonus is his trusty wolf.
And there you have it you lovely bookworms my bookish crush's. Who do you have a crush on?
